Here is my idea of a perfect nest, Exhibit A

Here is my husband's idea of a perfect nest, Exhibit B
Grebe |
Several times during the process my husband accused me of wanting this:
Plover |
Next time around I'm coming back as a bird, tidy or untidy, eagle or hummingbird I don't care, for unlike human pairings each species agrees on the perfect nest.
So - let's get this straight - you like tidy - husband is untidy and he thinks you want minimalist or to get rid of him altogether. Have I interpreted the code correctly?
ReplyDeleteDon't tempt me Elaine!
ReplyDeleteClearly you've been on the sherry! lol xx
ReplyDeleteI'm chugging it.
ReplyDeleteI have the same dilemma - I won't even go into our garage anymore!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you are a fellow sufferer.
DeleteAvoidance is the only strategy which seems to work.
I'm not a total A but would qualify as a very high B+. I once shared a classroom with another teacher who had the neatness of a tornado. She drove me insane. But too much clutter makes me itchy so I feel your pain. A box of garbage bags, a vacuum cleaner, and a very large bottle of wine will help you make it through. Too bad the good dr doesn't have a nice long out of state conference to attend. Then you could clean in peace. :o)
ReplyDeleteI used to share a desk with a neat freak. I preferred spending time with my patients rather than tidying my desk.
DeleteSorry, but I think I would like the grebe's nest too. I am sure it has something to do with being waterfront property.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the Grebe is very proud of it.
