Escape to The FM

After 10 days straight we have taken a day off from renovating. Not a moment too soon. An overdue trip into town for supplies was required. With groceries and drywall speedily obtained we called in at the Farmers' Market on the way home.

Home in time for a nap on the deck but not before admiring

and the first rose of summer

So nice to have an unstructured day. Too nice to spoil with the story of my new website disaster difficulties.

    I hope the website issues are resolved soon. It sounds like you had a good day despite them. I love the Laburnum and the rose is so pretty. Don't you love this time of year? Take it easy on the renovations. It will be worth it.

      We've got the tough stuff done. Finishing touches can be done at a more leisurely pace. the rolling pins are neat. They have a lot of maneuverability.

    I hope you bought one of those rolling pins if you don't have one already, they are the best. Working on houses is exhausting. Personally I often dream of a tiny condo.

      I drove my realtor crazy by wanting a tiny house with a large garden. I am so not domestic goddess material.
