Undisciplined

I've seen many bloggers choose a word to live by for 2014. I'll give that a shot I thought. From a desire to live an orderly life I settled on discipline . It is working tremendously well if you count sitting here in my PJs at lunchtime and being so absorbed in blogging I almost let the stove go out. This new discipline, strangely similar to the old one, as in non existent, also means the giveaway I mentioned will not be up for grabs today. It's coming, just not today. It will look something like this:

They are pendants made from wooden scrabble tiles. My friend Jana makes them and all I have to do is get the images over to her and it will look something like this:

I can't give you a bigger image, I sized it for the pendant and don't know how to make it go bigger without going fuzzy. This is another design I was thinking of:

What do you think?
Thanks to everyone who has looked at my new blog. Your kind words mean a lot.

  2. I love your new approach to discipline - keep on as you are and do what you want to do. However, it would perhaps be preferable not to let the stove go out.

  4. I like both, but prefer the birdie for sure. Good thing it was an 'almost' on the stove. It can be hard to get them relit sometimes.

  8. I don't pick a word for the year because each day is so different that I would need a secretary to keep up with all the words that fit each day. So I just prefer the blank page approach and let the words chose themselves. I love the pendant. :o)
