Suddenly I realize
That if I stepped out of my body
I would break
Into blossom.
- James Wright: A Blessing
I have a feeling when this long winter finally ends, and we feel the warmth of spring on our faces, many of us will break into blossom.

Oh friend!! This post just gave me hope and reminded me of the passion we all share! Thank you for reminding me of the beauty of spring!!!! All the best to you this week! Nicole xoxo
ReplyDeleteI am so ready for spring! A foot of snow on the way tonight but it will just water all that life waiting for us in the soil. Three new birdhouses are up and seeds have been sown. It will be here sooner rather than later! Love that Mucha print!
ReplyDeleteSimilar feeling I had this morning when looking out of the garden window. The sun is shining & melting a light frost , looking over to the greenhouse I could see the bright pink peach blossoms. A happy feeling indeed!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful description! I do hope I break out into blossom. I really do.
ReplyDeleteYou live in BC, right? So, is the weather harsh there in winter or mild like in some portions in Washington state in the US? Yes, I hope we all will blossom as the weather warms up though I have already started blossoming with the approaching spring :-). Very nicely written.
ReplyDeleteSpring is already here in this part of Europe. Mind you it has not been much of a winter any way (not that I am compaining!)
ReplyDeleteI think that when the daffodils appear then Spring is truly present.

It is lovely to meet you too. It really feels like Spring has arrived here this week after a long wet winter. Sarah x
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely quote and you gotta love Mucha :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for your blog comments - I've left replies x
And we've got blooms all over! Such a happy time of year.
ReplyDeleteOh, yes, I believe you're right! I'm ready to break out in blossoms - unfortunately, my garden is just not quite there yet. But soon....!
ReplyDeleteI keep watering myself with that hope. Bulbs are popping up under the snow, so I am sure there will soon be colors outside other than white.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely post.
Susan this brought such a smile to my face...I feel like I am budding and just waiting.
