Kayla

One never likes to get early morning phone calls or urgent messages but we've just experienced one. Our four legged little friend and neighbour from Calgary has passed away.

My husband happened to be outside when she was first brought home and got to hold the wee thing. A curl up in the palm of your hand baby. They bonded and became best pals. For more years than I can remember this little ball of fluff has been at the heart of picnics and parties and children's adventures. Our dogs were big, she was small but they figured it out, and in the end she outlived them both. Our neighbours were incredibly kind when our last dog passed away. It's tough not to be there for them. Goodbye sweet little thing.

  1. It is so hard to lose a dear friend. Our pets lives are too short.

  2. It is such a heart-breaking thing to lose your dog (or cat). They offer us so much love - no strings attached. What a dear thing. I am so sorry for you all.

  4. Losing pets is so hard. They become such an important part of our lives. John's dog Bro is getting quite old. Even though he isn't ours I know we will really miss him and his "mad man" dance every time we see him. Of course, it will be even harder for John. They are inseparable! - Margy
