The Marshmallow And The Loon

This is a picture of my blogging friend Margy's floating house. We live in the same area but she is located "up the lake" as they say in these parts. Pretty soon I'm going to get her lined up to write a guest post about her amazing floating garden. I've slotted her in today because she is a smidge, a sliver, a whisper away from having this picture published in Cabin Life magazine. She is up against a loon and a marshmallow. O.K. the marshmallow is in a charming scene of a father and son mesmerised by the campfire. I pesonally think a float home has the rarity factor. They live in it year round by the way. If you think this neat photo deserves a vote go to http://www.cabinlife.com/Community/Photo%20Contest/Polls/2014/02/March%202014.aspx

Try not to get sucked in by the cute kid.

I'll be back on Monday with a give away, if I get my act together.

    1. Andrea, you are not too far away. If you are ever in this neck of the woods I'll take you for a visit.

  3. Love the photo - and the cabin! I always wanted to live on a houseboat, but a floating house and a floating garden is better than anything I could imagine!
