Canadian Pride
Every April the Royal Canadian Air Force Snowbirds Demonstration Squadron practice their routines at our Air Force Base (Comox) for international air shows. Military personnel all over the world are doing tough and dangerous work. This video makes my heart swell with pride and love. Thanks to livingrichonthecheap for sharing.
So very true!!!! This video was so moving Susan! Thank you for passing on this inspiring video friend! We are blessed to have such an amazing military...such brave people! Wishing you a wonderful weekend! Nicole xo
We have an equivalent to your Canadian aerial team - ours are the Red Arrows who perform at all the Royal State functions as well. Certainly a sight to behold.
That's a great video. I love watching the Snowbirds. We went over to Comox one year to watch them practice, and we've seen them in many airshows. - Margy
We loved this - so nice they shot and uploaded it quickly. It sure shows off the beautiful coastline too :)

ReplyDeleteI found it poignant, to be honest. So full of life and the joy of flying and by the stroke of a pen they can be sent in harm's way.

ReplyDeleteRed Arrows-I love watching them fly over Buck House on royal occasions. I wonder if they will be out for the new baby.

ReplyDeleteI had honestly been thinking of driving up there specifically to watch them ... never did make it!
ReplyDeleteWhen we lived in Cold Lake we saw them regularly. What a treat it was!
